No. The check runs inside your browser and the file never leaves your device.
It means the signature is mathematically intact and the signed content is unchanged. Certificate revocation (OCSP/CRL) and the official trust list cannot be checked offline, so for an official verdict also open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
No. A browser cannot access a USB token by itself; signing needs your token driver and your CA signer utility. See DSC Token Help for fixes.
Any edit, compression, merge, rotate, print-to-PDF or re-save after signing breaks a digital signature. Make all changes first and sign last.
